Isn’t it weird to have church in a movie theater?
Well, actually we really like it. Our theater has great acoustics, comfortable seating, and kids seem to love it. Also, you cannot beat the location! We have great spaces for babies and preschoolers in private rooms for parents to drop off and pick up their kids. There is even a large window for parents to check on their kids during service. Our grade school ministry (Victory Kids) has their own theater with worship, games, and a great bible lesson each week. Also, if it still seems weird, just tell us you made a mistake and you were here for a movie, we will understand.
How long does service last?
Services last about an hour. We typically start with worship for about 15 minutes, make a few announcements and then go right into a teaching message that lasts about 25 minutes.
How should I dress?
You should dress comfortably, we do. Seriously, we couldn’t care less about what you wear to church. The Bible teaches God looks at the heart, not the outward appearance. (1 Sam 16:7). Most of our people seem to enjoy a good pair of jeans and a t-shirt.
What about my kids?
Your kids will love it here. From birth to teens, we have great programs designed for kids of all ages. Our environments are fun, safe and engaging. When you arrive, you will check your kids in with our team, they will print you out a parent tag and only the person with that matching tag will be able to pick them up. If you are needed during service they will text your phone number listed during registration. When it comes to our kid and student ministries, we are much more than a babysitting service. Your kids will experience the love of Jesus and grow in grace and wisdom and the knowledge of God. Victory Babies’ ages are 0-potty trained, Victory Kids JR is potty trained-kindergarten, Victory Kids is for ages 1st – 5th grade and Victory Students is for students 6th grade and up.
What are my Next Steps for becoming a part of Victory Church?
We’re so glad you asked! We would love for you to join us in our Next Step class. We talk about the vision of our church, what we’re trying to do, how we’re going to do it, and how you can help. This is also our membership class. We offer this class at different locations once a month. Registration for our next class will be open soon.
What kind of church is this anyway?
We are a non-denominational Christian church. That simply means we are not affiliated with any denomination in particular. We believe the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation and everything in between. We believe God’s word always helps us grow. God’s word improves our lives, health, marriages, parenting and pretty much everything else. You can learn details about our beliefs and certain doctrines in our Next Step classes and our Sunday morning worship services. Also, if you have any questions feel free to call or email us any time.
